Questions about this tool

What is saddle-stitch imposition?

It rearranges pages so a stack of double-sided sheets, folded down the middle and stapled, reads in the correct order — the way most booklets and zines are made.

What if my page count isn't a multiple of four?

NestPDF adds blank pages at the end so the booklet folds correctly. Saddle-stitch booklets always need a multiple of four pages.

How should I print it?

Print double-sided, flipping on the short edge, then fold the stack in half and staple along the spine.

Does this upload my PDF?

No. The imposition is calculated in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
